Hello everybody in blog land. Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Steve, and I live in the suburbs of Chicago with my lovely wife, and two wonderful kids, and a dog named Hannah, who my daughter named after, well, you know who.
I have a wide variety of interest, starting with amusement parks, and rollercoasters, to the paranormal, to playing Rock Band, and decorating for Halloween, and Christmas. My political views lean to the right, but on very rare occasions will I write my views in my blogs, unless something really ticks me off.
I wanted to start a blog for the longest time, but never got up to doing it, until now. I was always thinking: what I would write about? Then it hit me. I have quite a few interests, so that should give me plenty to write about. So with that, when you visit my blog, who knows what you could reading about. It could be something that deals with an amusement park, or the unexplained. I will do my best to keep my readers entertained. You will never know what you will come across when you visit the Acrostar experiment. Sit back and enjoy, and I hope to make a friends along the way, not to mention a few repeat visitors.
Why the name Acrostar experiment? Well, my daughter is on a gymnastics team called the Acrobats, and since I like to think of her as a star, hence the name Acrostar. For the experiment part of the name, that is just what this is. An experiment.

Welcome to the blogging world Steve.
ReplyDeleteWelcome. I am new at this too. Your layout looks nice, especially the picture on the black background. My political views are on the left but I don't post them either. I will follow your blog. www.myweathervane.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blogsphere, you have listed all the right reasons to blog, that's why we are all here. I have never followed a blog that is beginning, you have prompted me to break that rule. Let's see what happens. It doesn't matter if your blog is "all over the place" as you put it. I have blogs like that, I have some that are more specific. Randomness and spontaneity are fun.
